We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Line Cook/Dishwasher to join our busy restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
- Ensure food handling and storage comply with safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Support the kitchen team in organizing ingredients and supplies for efficient service
- Help with basic food presentation and plating when necessary
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with colleagues
Skills
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments preferred, especially in food preparation or cooking roles
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to proper food handling protocols
- Basic cooking skills; willingness to learn new techniques and recipes
- Excellent time management skills in a high-pressure setting
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Previous hotel or food service experience is a plus but not required
