Duties
- Prepare and process meat products following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Perform precise butchery and meat cutting to Pork product specifications
- Handle food products with care, ensuring proper hygiene and safety protocols are maintained at all times
- Package finished products efficiently for distribution or retail sale
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring product quality meets customer expectations
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, especially in food preparation, butchery, or kitchen environments, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Skills in meat cutting, packaging, and food handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Prior kitchen experience or related training is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
