Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts and Service Advisor to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking parts and service, providing expert guidance and ensuring a positive experience. This role combines technical understanding with excellent customer service skills to facilitate repairs, upsell services, and maintain strong client relationships.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their needs for parts or vehicle repairs
- Provide detailed explanations of repair procedures and available parts options
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts and accessories, upselling additional services when appropriate
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and service history
- Manage inventory levels for parts and accessories, placing orders as necessary
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth workflow
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their needs have been met and encourage repeat business
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a strong asset, enabling better understanding of vehicle repairs and parts compatibility
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Sales experience, including upselling services and products to enhance customer value
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record keeping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts inventory management is desirable

Pay: $19.00-$29.00 per hour
