In this role, the Management are the hands-on leaders of our restaurant team. They are responsible for managing all day-to-day operations within their store, including bringing the family’s strong values to life through all touch points, running profitable restaurants, ensuring meticulous facilities and compliance with all safety, labour and sanitation regulations. Through consistent execution of these duties,
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Human Resources
- Assist to recruit and hire team members and leaders
- Train and supervise staff according to the company’s established Program
- Consult on employee issues and manage as necessary
- Provides coaching, training and feedback to front line employees
- Be knowledgeable in provincial Employment Standards and Human Rights and that the standards are being met
Health and Safety
- Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Ensure health and safety procedures, documents and requirements are adhered to
- Regular equipment maintenance and checks
Operations
- Deliver exceptional quality, service and cleanliness on all shifts
- Order supplies to maintain product availability
- Executes and champions all policies, procedures and systems
- Foster tenure by maintaining a respectful and fun work environment
- Grow profitability by driving sales and improving labour productivity and controlling food waste
- Communicates deliverables with all team members
- Delivers, supports and exceeds assigned Key Performances Indicators
- Respond to customer feedback as necessary
- Conduct regular store walk-thru’s in order to gain the customer’s view
- Create shift changeovers occur without affecting guest service
- Regular inventory checks
- Ensure recipes and preparation are followed
- Knowledgeable in products and promotions
- Knowledge of sales
- Ensures cash handling and variances are addressed as necessary
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years’ experience in the restaurant industry
- 2+ years’ experience as Supervisor or above
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Exceptional integrity and trust
