Itex Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for a Presales Solutions Engineer to work with our team in the Ottawa Region.
Experience Required
- 4 plus years Information Technology experience, preferably working in Presales including development and/or presales support of Storage, Backup, Recovery and virtualization related products and/or services
- Exposure to Server, Storage and/or Networking virtualization technology from VMWare, Cisco, HP, Dell, Cisco or others
- Enterprise Storage experience with HP, Dell, Netapp
- WAN Acceleration technology experience with Riverbed, Array Networks, SilverPeak
- Familiar with SAN (Storage Area Network) Fabrics including Brocade, Cisco and others
- Solution Architecture and design experience that includes Veeam, Vmware and Symantec with the above platforms
- Strong oral/written communications, organization and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated effectiveness in a customer facing role.
- Experience developing and implementing solutions deployed in enterprise infrastructure environments (eg: SAN/NAS, Data Protection and retention etc.)
- Proven expertise in the area of operating systems including VMware, Windows, Linux etc.
- Strong presentation technical skills and must be able to work cross-functionally with account teams and partner organizations
- Experience with creating Statements of Work, proposal responses and related documentation.
