Full Job Description
Seeking a Full Time 310T mechanic with experience working on diesel equipment. We have a fleet of heavy and Medium/ light duty trucks and heavy equipment in the fleet. We take great pride in our equipment appearance as well as mechanical condition every day and so must you!
We have our own shop that is 3300 square feet, most of which will be your work space!
Requirements:
Driver’s license
Diesel mechanic experience 1 year minimum.
Must have your own tools.
Must have own transportation
Job responsibilities and duties:
Must have sound knowledge of daily shop best practices (logs, inventory, environmental)
Test and adjust units/fleet/equipment to specifications.
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults, malfunctions, defects
Perform preventive and necessary maintenance on fleet (oil changes, greasing)
Experience working with hydraulics and fittings
Ensure parts are ordered/returned correctly if necessary
Make work orders and track maintenance scheduling
Make outside appointments for units at other shops if necessary and facilitate delivery/pickup
Other duties as required

Salary: From $28.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
