About the Role
Jetstream Personnel Consulting is seeking an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to support our client in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems within commercial and industrial environments. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently.
- Competitive wages: $38.00–$50.00 per hour

- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Repair or replace components (compressors, condensers, valves, etc.)
- Perform leak testing and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Occasional travel may be required
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- HVAC/Refrigeration certification or license (preferred)
- 3+ years experience working with refrigeration or A/C systems (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude — plumbing/welding experience an asset
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in commercial/industrial settings is an advantage
