Our client is looking for a Product Engineer to design and develop high-quality storage solutions for their agricultural, industrial, and commercial clients. As a Product Engineer, you will lead the design and development of custom storage solutions, from concept to production.
This position is located in Rosenort, MB - roughly 35 minutes south of Winnipeg.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and prototyping of stainless steel tanks, trailers, and liquid handling systems.
- Develop advanced 3D models and configurations using SolidWorks to manage complex, customizable product lines.
- Create detailed production documentation, including shop drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Manage ERP data, including part numbers, BOMs, and routing structures, while ensuring accurate documentation for production.
- Collaborate with the shop floor to troubleshoot fabrication issues, optimize weldments, and improve assembly processes.
- Perform structural analysis, including calculations, FEA, and fluid pressure analysis, to ensure product integrity and compliance.
- Provide accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and production to support sales teams in quoting custom projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical or structural engineering within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical diploma with equivalent experience.
- Proficient in SolidWorks (3D modeling, large assemblies, configurations, and FEA) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, data entry, and structuring data for analysis and production.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding symbols, sheet metal processing, and structural steel.
- Ability to reliably commute to the facility in Rosenort, Manitoba.
