Position Overview:
As a Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter, you will play a vital role in our projects, working both independently and collaboratively with our team. We seek a motivated individual with a solid background in plumbing and gasfitting, capable of teaching and mentoring others while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute plumbing and gas installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot plumbing and gas systems to identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and coordinate project tasks to ensure seamless workflow.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Mentor and teach less experienced workers.
- Meeting project deadlines and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter license.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in plumbing and gasfitting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of plumbing and gas codes and regulations.
- Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Fall Arrest, First Aid Certification is an asset, training can be provided where required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
