**Job Summary:**
Experienced licensed mechanic required -working shop manager to oversee / maintain fleet of trucks and equipment for a-well established Niagara trucking / landscape company.
Position is full time with competitive wage and benefits package .
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. The Mechanic will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure vehicles are in optimal operating condition.
**Duties:**
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to identify faults.
- Perform vehicle alignments and suspension adjustments.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality after repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair services performed.
**Skills:**
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers regarding vehicle issues.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour
