Most renovation companies are organized chaos. Trades show up late. Clients hear nothing for weeks. The job finishes whenever it finishes. Nobody's accountable and everybody knows it.
We built JJ Legacy to be the opposite of that. Now we need someone who wants to help us prove it, every single day, on every single job.
Our pipeline is full through summer. We are not chasing work. We need someone to run it.
The Role
You own everything between signed contract and final walkthrough.
That means schedules, subtrades, site quality, client communication during production, and deficiencies. If a client has a question on a Tuesday afternoon, you have the answer before they finish asking it.
You are not a clipboard guy. You are the person clients trust when the owner is not on site. You set the tone, you hold the standard, and you make the calls. When something goes wrong, you do not wait to be told. You fix it and then you communicate it.
The owner runs sales and business development. You run production. Between the two of you, nothing falls through.
What You Will Do
- Manage multiple active renovation projects simultaneously across Burlington and Oakville
- Coordinate subtrades, schedule sequencing, and keep timelines tight without cutting corners
- Communicate proactively with clients throughout the build, not just when there is a problem
- Conduct site visits, quality checks, and deficiency walkthroughs to JJ Legacy's standard
- Track job progress in our project management system and flag issues early
- Represent JJ Legacy on site the way the owner would: organized, calm, and in control
You Would Fit Right In If You
- Have run renovation or construction projects before and know what it actually takes to keep a job on track
- Communicate clearly and often, with clients, with trades, with your employer. No one wonders where things stand.
- Take ownership without being asked. You see a problem, you handle it, and then you communicate it, in that order.
- Hold a high standard and do not apologize for it. Good enough is not in your vocabulary.
- Are organized, not just in your head, but on paper, in the system, and on site.
- Want to be part of something growing and are willing to grow with it.
This Is Not the Role for You If
- You need someone to tell you what to do next. This role requires initiative, not instruction.
- You think client communication can wait until the end of the week. It cannot.
- You are comfortable with pretty good. Our clients pay for excellent and that is what they get.
- You are looking for a job to collect a cheque. We are building something and you need to want to be part of it.

Compensation and Benefits
