We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Regional Operations Manager to oversee the deployment, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of our network of AI-powered smart vending machines across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You will bridge the gap between hardware, software, and field operations, ensuring maximum uptime, seamless logistics, and an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Operations & Fleet Management: Oversee the installation, replenishment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AI vending machines in the region.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Coordinate with local warehouse partners and route drivers to optimize inventory levels and delivery schedules based on data insights.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze machine sales data and AI-driven insights to optimize product mix, reduce waste, and maximize revenue per machine.
- Partner & Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with location hosts (malls, offices, transit hubs, universities) and handle any property-related operational issues.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of local field technicians and route operators as the network scales.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in retail operations, vending fleet management, smart logistics, or micromobility (e.g., e-scooters/bikes operations).
- Strong technical aptitude—comfortable dealing with IoT hardware, software interfaces, and basic troubleshooting.
- Excellent project management and data analytical skills (Excel, BI tools).
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and willingness to travel within the GTA.
- Bonus: Experience in automated retail, automated food service, or tech-startup environments.
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
