Property Doctor Maintenance is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape & Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong leadership skills, and can efficiently manage a crew while maintaining high-quality standards on commercial and residential properties.
This position is ideal for an individual with previous landscaping and property maintenance experience who is ready to step into a leadership role and help oversee daily operations in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a landscape/grounds maintenance crew of approximately 4 employees
- Follow daily schedules and work orders provided by the Operations Manager
- Ensure all properties are maintained to company quality standards
- Safely operate company trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment
- Operate zero-turn mowers, weed whackers, blowers, and various grounds maintenance equipment
- Perform commercial property maintenance including:
- Grass cutting
- Trimming and edging
- Weed control
- Litter picking
- Pressure washing
- Spring/fall cleanups
- General grounds maintenance tasks
- Complete daily documentation, site photos, and notes using company software/apps
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed properly and efficiently
- Train and assist crew members as needed
- Maintain clean and organized company equipment and vehicles
- Assist with loading/unloading trailers and equipment transportation
Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping and commercial property maintenance experience required
- Experience operating zero-turn mowers required
- Experience towing and backing trailers required
- Experience leading or supervising a crew is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment and safe operation practices
- Ability to work independently and problem solve in the field
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing labor-intensive work
