We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Duties
- Deliver high-quality massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage
- Assess clients’ health history and discuss treatment goals to develop customized therapy plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, and wellness strategies to enhance results
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide clear explanations of procedures
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Maintaining an active and up to date licence and registration as a RMT
- Compliance with CMTO regulations governing the practice of massage therapy
- Comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology to assess and address client's specific needs
- Adequate liability insurance coverage
- Compassion and a patient-centred approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and conduct at all times
- Adhering to ethical standards and client confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week to start
