With rapid growth with commercial and military customers, AVSS is looking for a Drone Parachute Rigger with a primary focus on Production and supporting R&D Testing.
The company is looking for an individual who has more than 3 years of relevant experience in the production and assembly of technical products. We are looking for a candidate who has been a part of a company that has commercialized and manufactured commercial hardware, aerospace and/or textile products.

Duties/Requirements:
- Fold parachutes and pack them into different parachute containers,
- Follow standard procedures in performing assembly tasks such as visual inspection, physical inspection, testing and quality control documentation.
- Ability to quickly learn complex procedures, improve on processes and provide feedback/assist in the development of procedures for the assembly of new products.
- Must be able to read and understand diagrams and instructions from technical manuals and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English, including the ability to describe information, concepts, ideas and to convey instructions to others.
- Ability to independently manage, organize, and complete work activities in order to meet or exceed established deadlines/priorities.
- Managing inventory and providing weekly reports using the inventory software.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Carp, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
