Are you looking to start a career in locksmithing? Do you enjoy working independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment? Our company is currently looking for an Locksmith Apprentice. Candidate must reside within 15 minutes of Penticton, or be willing to relocate.
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary and a great work environment. Rotating night call availability is preferred. Our office has adopted a 4 day work week, operating Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5:30pm. Unlimited PTO, company cell phone, and a personal service van.
Folks with mechanical backgrounds preferred. Knowledge of basic hand tools is an asset. We will teach the following skills and more:
Key blank identification
Rekeying and master keying knowledge
Impressioning skills
Building code, fire codes, and life safety entry/egress.
Commercial hardware sales, installation, and maintenance.
Electronic hardware; strikes and switches.
We are also offering the opportunity of company ownership for interested technicians.
