Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Driver Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while safely operating company vehicles to deliver products and assist clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining a professional appearance, and fostering positive relationships with customers. A valid driver’s license and the ability to perform heavy lifting are essential components of this position. This is a paid position suitable for individuals committed to delivering quality service and maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to make scheduled deliveries and pickups in a timely manner
- Loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of transactions
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation duties
- Keep delivery areas clean and organized after each shift
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or delays
Experience
- Valid driver’s Class G license with a clean driving record is required
- Prior experience in driving or delivery roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often involving items of substantial weight
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently and follow route schedules accurately
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety protocols at all times
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
