Mobile Beverage Filtration Operator (2 x Part-Time, Year-Round Positions with Seasonal Workload Fluctuations)
Role: Cellar Dweller is seeking 2 mechanically inclined operators to run and maintain mobile beverage filtration equipment at beverage production facilities throughout the Okanagan.
Hours: 24-32 hours/week from January-May and September 1-October 15. Outside these periods, work is available on an as-needed basis (typically 0-16 hours/week).
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude (essential)
- Clean driving abstract (essential)
- Physical ability to move filtration machines and work in beverage production environments (essential)
- Class 3 with air is an asset
- Experience towing trailers preferred
- Valid passport and ability to travel to the U.S. preferred
- Ability to work weekends during the Sept-Oct period and occasional overnights away during the Jan to May period preferred
- Industry and equipment training provided. Winery/cellar experience is an asset but not required.
Compensation
Starting wage $25/hr, with opportunities to earn up to $30/hr based on qualifications and training progression
· Additional $1/hr increases for:
- Heavy trailer (Code 20) endorsement
- Class 3 with Air
- Demonstrated ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment independently
- Benefits are available after 3 months for employees who maintain an average of 20+ hours per week

Job Types: Part-time
Work Location: Mobile role servicing wineries and beverage producers throughout the Okanagan. Employees report to our shop at the north end of Oliver before travelling to customer sites, daily travel in company trucks to be expected.
