Job Title: Dental Administrative Lead
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Administrative Lead to join our team. This role combines hands-on dental administration responsibilities with leadership of the front-office team. The successful candidate will actively participate in daily administrative operations while providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient clinic operations and an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination.
- Process insurance claims, predeterminations, and billing.
- Respond to patient inquiries and maintain professional communication.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate treatment plans and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain patient charts and administrative documentation.
- Ensure compliance with office policies and privacy requirements.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead and support the administrative team in daily operations.
- Train, mentor, and onboard new administrative staff.
- Monitor scheduling efficiency and front-office workflows.
- Assist management with implementing policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Support conflict resolution and foster a positive team environment.
- Promote consistent delivery of outstanding customer service.
- Lead by example through active participation in day-to-day administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental administration experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, treatment coordination, and scheduling.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
