Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction, logistics, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, with additional skills in forklift operation, freight handling, commercial driving, and automotive repair being highly valued. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other machinery
- Transport materials and equipment across job sites or between locations using commercial driving skills when required
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues; coordinate repairs with automotive repair specialists when necessary
- Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, or loaders in a construction or industrial setting
- Certification or training in forklift operation is preferred
- Experience handling freight logistics and commercial driving is advantageous
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adhere to strict safety standards
- Prior experience working on construction sites or industrial facilities is highly desirable

Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour
