Your place in our story
Reporting to the Health and Safety Director, this role promotes the highest standards of health and safety throughout the organization by implementing, evaluating, promoting, and continuously improving Minto’s integrated program.
Here’s how you’ll contribute
Partner with and support Health & Safety programs across the Ottawa region acting as the lead specialist for the multi-residential assets
Ensure compliance with Ontario OHSA and internal safety policies
Inspect sites and maintain on-site presence
Conduct audits, monitor effectiveness, and track legislative changes
Support construction projects and attend pre-start meetings
Maintain training records and identify gaps
Investigate incidents and support return-to-work programs
Facilitate safety committees and deliver safety talks
Maintain incident records and trend analysis
Participate in emergency response planning
Support our Senior Benefits & Wellness Specialist serving as back-up for injury reporting processes
What you bring to the team

Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety
Health and safety designation preferred
3–5 years’ experience in program management/development
Experience in industrial and construction sectors required
Standard First Aid Certification
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel); LMS and H&S software
Valid driver’s license is required
Hiring pay range rate: $75,000 to $88,000
