Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher Level 2/3 to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and engaging environment that supports the developmental needs of young children. This role involves creating enriching learning experiences, promoting social-emotional growth, and supporting children’s individual abilities. Candidates should have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, as it demonstrates versatility and commitment to inclusive education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Engage children in educational activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as needed.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring all students have equitable access to learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities and school events that enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and other relevant documentation.
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations and best practices in caregiving.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is preferred
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing classroom activities and guiding students effectively
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage time efficiently, and maintain detailed documentation
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Familiarity with computer operation, educational software, and recordkeeping systems is beneficial
- Knowledge of childcare principles, early childhood development theories, and teaching methodologies
