Key Responsibilities
· Operate excavator, bobcat, skid steer, and other heavy equipment for demolition, excavation, sorting, and loading materials.
· Conduct pre-operational checks, perform routine maintenance, and refuel equipment.
· Maintain job sites in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
· Abide by all company health & safety policies, procedures, and rules.
· Attend and actively participate in site health & safety meetings and activities.
· Inspect and assess work areas for hazards; report site hazards, injuries, incidents, or defective equipment.
· Use PPE, tools, and equipment properly, ensuring pre-use inspections and maintenance.
· Follow training and instructions from the Foreman to safely perform work tasks.
· Arrive at site on time; notify the Foreman if late or absent.
· Represent Evergreen in a positive and respectful manner.
· Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills
· Heavy Equipment Operator certificate.
· Knowledge of demolition and excavation work procedures.
· Safety- and quality-conscious with high attention to detail.
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
· Physically able to perform manual labour and adapt to different environments and site conditions.

Education & Experience
· Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
· Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or skid steers.
· Previous demolition or excavation experience is an asset.

Work Schedule
· Full-time, permanent position.
· Standard shifts with occasional flexibility required depending on project needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
