Cestar College is looking for part-time instructors to teach courses in the accredited Paralegal program. Cestar College of Business, Health and Technology is a private career college located in Toronto, Ontario. Requirements:
- Licenced with the Law Society of Ontario as a Paralegal or Lawyer
- Degree or diploma from a recognized University or College in a relevant (Law-related) discipline.
- Three or more years' experience as a licensed paralegal or lawyer.
- One year or more of teaching experience,
- A credential in adult education or in progress from an accredited post-secondary institution and/or teaching experience is preferred
- Ability to motivate students
- High standards of behaviour, a professional attitude and commitment to quality service.
- Current membership/license with Law Society of Ontario required.
Must be available for one or more of the following course schedules:
- Monday/Tuesday 10am-2pm
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 10am-2pm
- Monday/Tuesday 6pm-10pm
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 6pm-10pm
Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum and prepare teaching materials
- Teach students using a variety of techniques, including lectures, discussions, case studies, group projects
- Evaluate student performance according to college policies and procedures
- Advise students on program curricula and preparation necessary for a career in Paralegal field
- Mark all content and submit course portfolio/grade-sheet/attendance at conclusion of course
