About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Fence Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with experience in installing various types of fencing systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of technical skills to deliver high-quality results. The position requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Candidates with experience in related trades such as masonry, electrical, or plumbing are encouraged to apply.
Location: Quispamsis, New Brunswick
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
What You’ll Do:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine fencing layouts and specifications
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately using hand tools and measuring devices
- Operate power tools such as drills, saws, and post drivers safely and efficiently
- Set concrete footings and formwork for fence posts, ensuring stability and alignment
- Install fencing materials including wood, vinyl, chain-link, or ornamental fences according to project specifications
- Use heavy equipment when necessary for excavation or post setting
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and durability of fences
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of professional fence installation experience is required
- Proven expertise working specifically with chain link, wood privacy, and box wood styles.
- Strong carpentry construction skills are highly preferred and considered a major asset.
- Capability to handle heavy lifting, repetitive bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic.
