The Driving Force Group of Companies is a network of world-class transportation and fleet management solutions companies. We're proud to be an Alberta success story that began in a rented office above a small service station. With a can-do attitude and people-first culture, we've grown into an industry leader, operating across over 40 locations with over 600+ employees.
We are currently looking for a Production Film Coordinator in our Langley location.
What Moves You:
- You're drawn to the energy of the film industry and love being the person productions rely on to keep their transportation needs running smoothly.
- You're a natural relationship builder who thrives on becoming the go-to contact for transportation coordinators, understanding their world well enough that they call you first and trust you completely.
- You're energized by a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where no two productions are the same, and you bring calm, creative problem-solving to every curveball that comes your way.
- You take genuine pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience, not just meeting expectations but consistently finding ways to exceed them.
- You have an entrepreneurial streak. You see every new film connection as an opportunity to grow a book of business, and you take personal ownership over the results you deliver.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for film industry clients, managing bookings, troubleshooting issues, and finding solutions that keep productions on schedule and their transportation needs fully covered.
- Build and grow relationships with transportation coordinators across the film industry, leveraging existing networks and actively developing new contacts to expand Driving Force's presence in the market.
- Oversee vehicle delivery and pickup logistics, ensuring every handoff meets agreed conditions and deadlines that productions are depending on.
- Actively promote Driving Force's rental services in alignment with company brand standards, maintaining accurate records of all contacts and accounts while supporting billing and achieving department sales targets.
- Contribute to business planning by forecasting film industry rental volume and communicating opportunities and customer issues to the Rental Manager in a timely and proactive way.
What You'll Bring:
- Direct experience working with transportation coordinators in the film industry or a strong existing network within the film production community that you can activate from day one.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, proven commitment to delighting customers through attitude, attention, and effort.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license with a driver's abstract acceptable to Driving Force's Driver and Vehicle Safety Program, alongside a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort picking up rental and CRM systems to keep contacts, accounts, and transactions accurately tracked and up to date.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the personal accountability to follow through on commitments even when productions are moving fast and the pressure is on.
What We Offer:
- Competitive wages and flexible benefits.
- Our company RRSP matching program.
- 50% off rentals at any of our Driving Force locations.
- Learning and growth opportunities.
- Paid vacation and wellness time.
- We support your wellbeing through our Thrive wellness program.
