Job Summary:
Reporting to the Customer Service Coordinator, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting the complete sales cycle including serving walk-in customer, preparing quotes and sales order, offering technical assistance. The Customer Service Representative represents the company in the community and maintains Intercity’s commitment to outstanding customer service in their everyday duties and responsibilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Representative (Inside Sales) duties include but are not limited to:
· Offer sales assistance to walk-in customers, and via phone or web platform
· Place and fulfill sales orders
· Assist Outside Sales Representatives with sales, customer service, and quotes
· Support inventory management process by participating in cycle count process
· Contribute to the overall success of the company
· Actively contribute to team environment
- Promote Intercity within the community
Qualifications:
· Experience with customer service with a high school diploma required
· A post-secondary education is an asset
· MRO product knowledge, or other technical product knowledge is an asset
· Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, relevant computer programs, general office equipment, Windows and electronic mail is necessary
· Self-motivated, solutions oriented individual with a strong commitment to customer service
· Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to develop trusting relationships
· Must be consistent, well organized and able to multi-task
· Adaptable to change
· Dedicated team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
