We are Foothills Group, a people company. We build people, grow leaders, and win together. Our Heavy Equipment Sales team is built for individuals who want to hunt, win, and get paid properly for it. This is a performance role. There is no cap on commission. What you produce is what you make.
You are not stepping into a slow, corporate system where deals get stuck in layers of approval. You have direct access to decision makers, the ability to quote on the fly, and financing options that keep deals moving. If a customer is ready to buy, you are in a position to close, not wait.
You are responsible for building and owning your territory. You prospect, you follow up, and you stay in front of customers. You are not waiting on leads. You are creating opportunities and converting them into deals. You understand that sales is not about talking. It is about identifying problems and delivering solutions that make sense for the customer and the business.
You are selling equipment ranging from $75,000 to over $1,000,000 per unit, including skid steers, loaders, and excavators. You have the ability to start with smaller wins and build into large, high-value deals. This is not a one-off sales environment. We are a service-backed company with established locations in Calgary and Lethbridge, giving you access to a customer base that already trusts us. You are not just closing deals, you are building relationships that continue to produce.
In your first 90 days, the expectation is simple. You get in front of people. You learn the product, the market, and how we operate. You build a pipeline and start closing. You show that you can move without being chased, take feedback, and execute consistently.
This job is demanding. There are no shortcuts. You will hear no more than you hear yes. You are accountable to your results. If you need constant direction or motivation, this will not work. If you are competitive, self-driven, and take pride in winning, you will do well here.
We offer a base plus commission structure with uncapped earning potential. A solid performer will earn $150,000+. Top performers will exceed $200,000 with no cap on what they can make. The structure rewards volume and performance, not tenure.
