About MacKinnon Magnetics and the Program
MacKinnon Magnetics is an Ontario-based manufacturer of low-voltage dry-type transformers ranging from 15 to 800 kVA. Engineering, production, assembly and testing are completed in-house at our Concord manufacturing facility.
With demand for power and electrical infrastructure continuing to grow, the transformer manufacturing industry offers an opportunity to build practical, transferable skills. In connection with a Government of Ontario-supported training initiative, MacKinnon Magnetics is offering a paid, four-week training program that gives participants hands-on exposure to manufacturing, machining and transformer assembly.
