Job Overview
Japango is looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Server to join our team. This role involves both guest service and table maintenance, helping ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver food and beverages promptly
- Clear and reset tables efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Work closely with team members during busy service hours
- Provide a positive and welcoming dining experience
- Occasionally assist with marketing content creation, including photo and video shoots for social media and promotional use
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Japanese restaurant is required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable appearing in marketing videos and social media content
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Schedule:
- Approximately 4 full-day shifts per week
- Schedule may vary based on business needs
- Weekend availability is required
Salary: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
