About Us
We are a family-owned and operated branch of Interstate Batteries serving Southern Ontario. Our business has been under the same ownership for more than 30 years, and we take pride in creating long-term relationships with both our customers and our employees.
We have a team of more than 30 employees, including an office team of approximately 8–10 people. We operate in a fast-paced distribution environment and work with a large network of automotive, commercial, retail, and wholesale customers throughout Southern Ontario.
The Role
This is a full-time, in-office position that combines accounts receivable, collections, customer service, order processing, and customer account management.
A large part of the role involves communicating directly with customers by phone and email. You will be following up on outstanding accounts, answering questions, resolving problems, processing orders, and helping manage ongoing customer relationships.
This is not a traditional call-centre role. You will be working with recurring business customers, building relationships, solving problems, and becoming an important point of contact between our customers and our internal team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, is comfortable handling difficult conversations, and can remain professional while working toward a solution.
You will report directly to our Controller and work closely with our accounting, sales, dispatch, warehouse, and management teams.
