We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with accuracy and integrity
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
- Upsell related products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Offer technical support or product knowledge when applicable during sales interactions
- Manage phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls as needed
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with retail technology tools
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features confidently
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to upsell products tactfully
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and sales techniques
- Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $18.50 per hour
