Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced Food Truck environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all health regulations
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support other kitchen staff during busy service times to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and kitchen operations
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
- Excellent attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred. Minimum 1+ Year Required
- Experience in busy kitchen is A MUST
- Good Knife Skills
- Reliable and Positive Attitude
- Must be able to work in tight quarters (Food Truck)
