General Responsibilities:
- Setup, Adjust and continuously monitor the operation of bag making machinery.
- Check for quality, trouble shoot and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate production records including line sheets, production sheets, quality reports and checklists.
- Read and understand specification sheet.
- Follow the required company Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety standards to maintain an efficient and safe working environment.
- Follow a cleaning routine to ensure proper maintenance of the equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, printing, warehouse desired.
- Previous technical background in machinery is required.
- Good English communication skills required.
- First aid qualification and safety training are considered assets.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work shift work, weekends and some overtime.
- Willing to work shifts at the Richmond location.
Shift Requirement:
This position operates in a multi-shift environment. Availability for weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) is required based on production schedules.
