This position offers the opportunity to manage diverse electrical construction projects while collaborating with clients, field teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Overview
Reporting to senior leadership, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of multiple electrical construction projects.
Working closely with clients, site supervisors, estimators, suppliers, and subcontractors, you will oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards. You will also play an important role in mentoring field teams, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining exceptional client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical construction projects simultaneously.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and timelines to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project activities.
- Prepare project documentation, progress billings, and project closeout packages.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Mentor and support field supervisors and project team members throughout project execution.
Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience managing projects from planning through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and resource management.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications
- Journeyperson Electrician Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and applicable codes.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, documentation, and resources.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay: $1.00-$2.00 per year
