Job Description
White Canvas Design Agency has an exciting opportunity to add a talented Content Creator to our team. Hard work ethic, creativity and a good sense of humour are an absolute must!
This is a part-time casual position requiring 20 hours per week. The successful candidate must be located in the Lower Mainland and able to commute to our Langley office and client shoots as needed.
Work hours will be scheduled by the company and will fall between Monday and Friday, 7:00am and 7:00pm PST. The specific schedule will be determined based on business needs and communicated in advance.
There may be opportunities for increased hours or transition to a full-time position in the future, based on performance and business requirements.
Skills / Requirements:
- Completion of Marketing or Communications Degree or Certificate at a recognized institution
- Values work-life balance and self-care
- Comfortable being on-camera and directing others on-camera
- Minimum 1 year working experience in a related role (in-house or agency)
- Deep understanding of current social media trends, algorithm shifts, and emerging platforms
- Strong video editing, storytelling, and visual design skills
- Strong blog, website and social content writing skills is a must
- Master of grammar, copy editing and proofreading with a keen eye for detail
- Familiar with Content Calendars, and scheduling tools
- A master at Canva and lover of reels, has a strong eye for design and aesthetic
- Understanding of Google Drive Applications
- Familiar with efficient content workflows, including AI-assisted ideation and creative tools
