Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate RECE Supply Staff to join our team for our Summer camp and to stay with our team into the new school year. This role is essential in providing quality support in an early childhood education setting, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for children. Our center supports children from Toddler to School Age and the successful candidate must be able to work across all age groups. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in childcare or special education, and a commitment to working in an inclusive and responsive framework.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of educational programs and activities for children.
- Provide support to lead educators in classroom management and programming.
- Foster a positive learning environment by engaging with children and encouraging their development.
- Collaborate with team members to create inclusive experiences for all children, including those with special needs.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom setting, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other staff members.
- Document observations and participate in assessments of children's development.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
- Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen and AQI
- Strong organizational skills, time management and punctuality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience leading group activities is beneficial.
- Experience with classroom and behavior management.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $23.00-$23.50 per hour
