We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Cook to lead our culinary team. Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation and food handling procedures
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on food safety, cooking techniques, and service standards
- Ensure all food served meets quality and safety standards, adhering to health regulations
- Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management
- Develop menu items in collaboration with culinary staff, maintaining consistency and innovation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment in compliance with safety protocols
- Monitor service flow during peak hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing guest needs and feedback promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or kitchen supervision within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of serving, food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards
- Prior experience in restaurant or culinary settings preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
