We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Please note: This is a temporary position (6–8 months), with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Candidates must have their own reliable vehicle to travel between multiple properties.
Responsibilities
Advertise Vacancies:
- Create and manage listings on Facebook Marketplace, rental websites, and other online platforms to generate interest in available units.
Respond to Inquiries:
- Promptly respond to prospective tenant inquiries via email, phone, and messaging apps to provide information and schedule appointments.
Coordinate and Conduct Showings:
- Set up and lead property tours, highlighting unit features and answering tenant questions to encourage leasing decisions.
- Receive and review rental applications, collect necessary documentation and security deposits, and submit completed files for final approval.
- Conduct walk-throughs of vacant apartments to ensure they are clean, functional, and ready for showing and move-in.
- Regularly check local rental comps to ensure unit pricing remains competitive and aligned with current market trends.
- Travel between multiple properties as required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous experience as a property manager, leasing agent, or realtor
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry and file management
- Familiarity with Buildium or similar property management software is a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have a reliable vehicle to move between properties
