CHAMPS Milton is seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined technician with experience in the automotive, mechanical, or related service industries. This role is ideal for someone who has worked with electrical and mechanical systems, enjoys troubleshooting, and is eager to join and maintain Brunswick GSX bowling lane equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems within the facility.
- Learn and support the operation, servicing, and troubleshooting of Brunswick GSX pinsetter and lane equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and carry out corrective actions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with general facility maintenance as required (lighting, minor repairs, equipment adjustments).
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with management to identify equipment issues and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Background in automotive service, mechanical repair, industrial maintenance, or similar trade.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including motors, belts, gears, bearings, and hydraulics.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, sensors, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn specialized GSX Brunswick equipment (training provided).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred
- Experience with bowling equipment, industrial machinery, or automated systems.
- Certification in mechanical or electrical trades.
- Previous maintenance technician experience in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
