Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements; define functional and non-functional specifications with stakeholders
Analyse legacy codebases (C#, PowerShell, batch scripts, Python, quant libraries, R) to uncover business rules and decision logic, data transformations and workflows, and integration patterns and dependencies
Decompose technical implementations into functional processes, business capabilities, and user/system interactions
Support system integration, testing and validation - including quant output-parity validation between legacy and re-platformed logic
Translate business processes into technical workflows for the target state
Collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure accurate implementation
Use AI tools to accelerate code analysis and to draft specifications and requirement artefacts

5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst
Mandatory Canadian Asset Management experience
Ability to read and reason about code (C#, Python, PowerShell, R / quant libraries) to extract logic and data flows
Strong documentation and communication skills; Agile familiarity
Experience using AI to analyse code and create specifications
