We are looking for an experienced Hydroseeding Equipment Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role working on both residential properties and commercial construction projects.
The successful candidate will operate hydroseeding equipment and periodically run skid steers and mini excavators for grading, soil preparation, and erosion control installation. You will also be responsible for driving a Class 3–rated truck and trailer, completing daily pre-trip inspections, and safely transporting equipment to and from job sites.
This position requires someone who is self-managing, reliable, and capable of leading a helper with minimal supervision. You will be expected to plan daily tasks, maintain productivity, and deliver quality work.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating hydroseeding and hydromulching equipment
- Operating skid steers and mini excavators
- Grading, topsoil placement, and site preparation
- Installing erosion control measures (straw mulch, blankets, silt fence, etc.)
- Driving Class 3 truck and trailer and performing pre-trip inspections
- Leading and directing a helper
- Maintaining equipment and following safety procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in hydroseeding, landscaping, or site construction
- Comfortable operating heavy equipment
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of outdoor work in varying conditions
