Job Posting: Medical Chiropractic Receptionist (Full-Time) - Immediate Start Available
Since 1950, Stevenson Chiropractic and Wellness has been a trusted name in health and wellness, proudly serving the Hamilton community for three generations. Our family-run practice is built on a foundation of care, expertise, and a commitment to helping our patients achieve their best health. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Chiropractic Receptionist to join our team.
Position Details
- Hours: 35–40 hours per week
- Pay: $20/hour (increasing to $25/hour after successful completion of a 3-month probation period)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Benefits: Available after 3 months
- Vacation: 2 weeks annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Schedule appointments, ensuring proper timing and availability for both patients and providers.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general inquiries.
- Assist with billing, insurance claims, and payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and managing office supplies.
- Manage patient flow and ensure the clinic runs on time.
- Assist with processing WSIB and MVA claims.
- Provide general support to Chiropractors and other clinic staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with WSIB and MVA billing is required
- Previous experience in a medical, chiropractic, or rehabilitation clinic preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software and basic office systems
