HAYDEN Diamond Bit Industries Ltd. specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of diamond coring bits and other diamond products for the world’s mining and exploration industry. We are located in Richmond, BC.
We are seeking candidates for some of the following positions -
Finisher (PM shift: 2:30 PM to 11 PM)
The Finisher is responsible for following and maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure high-quality grinding and sandblasting. This role requires adherence to specified guidelines and active participation in improving the process through feedback and collaboration with the Quality Department.
Finisher cum Relief Sieve Operator (PM shift: 2:30 PM to 11 PM)
The Finisher is responsible for following and maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure high-quality grinding and sandblasting. This role requires adherence to specified guidelines and active participation in improving the process through feedback and collaboration with the Quality Department.
The Sieve Operator is responsible for the safe handling, preparation and sieving of large batches of metal powder of typically 25 kilograms or more using the sieving equipment.
Furnace Operator (AM shift; 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
The Furnace Operator is responsible for following and maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure high-quality furnacing and Blanks cleaning. This role requires adherence to specified guidelines and active participation in improving the process through feedback and collaboration with the Quality Department.
Diamond & Powder Mixer (PM shift; 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM)
The Diamond and Powder Mixer is responsible for following and maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure high-quality diamond and powder mixes. This role requires adherence to specified guidelines and active participation in improving the process through feedback and collaboration with the Quality Department.
Mold Cleaning (AM shift; 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
Mold Cleaning is the process of cleaning and checking molds before using it in production. The purpose of this procedure is to describe the basic steps needed to follow and maintain good quality on mold cleaning procedure. The Mold Cleaner is responsible for preparing recycled mold / new molds.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 completion or equivalent.
Must have English language skills (verbal and written).
Prior manufacturing experience in metal or related industries and demonstrated ability to following work procedures and operate independently without close supervision.
Must not be allergic to dust, graphite or metal compounds.
Basic knowledge of machine and power tools operations. Mechanically inclined.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintain high-quality standards.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and provide constructive feedback.
Good eyesight and steady hands.
Able to work flexible shifts.
Able to work standing for the duration of the 8 hours shift
Able to lift/move weights up to 20 lbs.
Able to work in a team.
Wage rate: $18.25/hr. - $19.50/hr.
Job Type: Permanent full time
Benefits: After 3 months of probationary period
