Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Beam Line Operator to join our NIGHT SHIFT team in Canada. Based in our facility, this role is vital for ensuring the efficient operation of our CNC machinery and supporting our mission to produce top-tier structural steel products.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC beam line machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines.
- Program CNC equipment using Fanuc controls and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CNC machines.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC beam line machinery or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC programming.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls and CNC lathe/milling machines.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD, and basic math skills.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, welding, and assembly is a plus.
