Kayla's Children Centre is a multi-disciplinary centre for children with special needs. Our mission is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge, educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs for infants, children and teens with special needs, and to assist their families by offering support and respite.

Music Therapist
Requirements:
- Entry level or above, Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Music Therapy
- Current registration with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists preferred
- Experience working with children with diverse abilities, including ASD, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities
- Ability to assess and implement developmentally appropriate therapy programming for groups and individual clients
- Good collaboration and communication skills to work in an interdisciplinary team with and run multidisciplinary groups
- Communicates effectively in person and via writing and maintains professional relationships with students, family members, and school staff
- Proficient computer skills for online scheduling and documentation
- Strong music proficiency in voice and instruments; guitar skills preferred
- Strong group leadership skills and ability to establish effective group dynamics
