We are seeking a motivated and dependable Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials on-site
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision, such as drills, saws, and hand tools
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and handing off materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Perform site cleanup duties to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace
- Carry out minor repairs or maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of construction sites, tools, and safety procedures is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work well within a team setting
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in attendance
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for transportation purposes
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour roles is advantageous but not required
