SUMMARY:
A Food Store Personnel receives incoming shipments, stocks pantries and kitchens, fills requisitions and counts products for accurate inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and inventory management using warehouse management systems.
- Perform heavy lifting of goods and materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Support order fulfillment processes by accurately selecting items according to order specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve productivity.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Previous experience driving a forklift, minimum 2 years experience
· Previous experience working in cold environments a strong asset
Education Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED preferred
Our Employees Must Be Able to:
· Work assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidays
· Work overtime when required
· Pass a criminal background check
· Candidates will be required to go through pre-employment, criminal check and/or airport fingerprinting.
· Must be able to read and write reports in English
ENVIROMENT:
· Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
· Will work in extremely cold temperatures of 30 degrees or lower for extended periods of time
· Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds
· Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
