Overview
We are looking for a Junior Dog Groomer to join our team. This position is best suited for someone with approximately 1-3 years of professional grooming experience, who is confident with the basics and looking to continue developing their skills.
You’ll work alongside experienced groomers in a collaborative environment that values quality and compassion for animals, all the while continuing to build your confidence, efficiency, and breed knowledge.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is coachable, dependable, and committed to continually improving their skills while providing every pet with a safe and positive grooming experience.

- Display and maintain good personal hygiene

Duties
- Bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming dogs according to established standards
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent injuries to pets or staff during grooming activities, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas to promote a healthy environment
- Engage with pet owners professionally, answering questions and providing updates on their pets’ grooming progress
- Support the team in managing heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs
During the first couple of weeks the shifts would be 8am - 4:30pm with a 30minute paid lunch break. Then the shifts would change to 8:30am - 5pm.
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
