Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a full time or part time cook. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a high paced environment, preparing meals and buffet options, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and customer service, with a strong background in the food industry. Responsibilities
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards as well as customer modifications
- Handle food safely, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout all stages of food preparation and service
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prepping and storage areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Manage food inventory, restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Set-up and take down of buffet meals for parties
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Skills in serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings & holidays
- Food industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
